Thanks!
Bosch Super Plus 7955

These work very well in my two........some say that they don't last as long as OEM, but I haven't had them in long enough to know (3K miles on the S70 and 6K miles on the V70 - both NA)

I put single-prong NGK Platinum's in mine 2 years ago and they work just fine. I'll be doing a tune-up one of these upcoming weekends and will see how they look.

I use to be a Autozone store manager and had a lot of commercial customers that when I would give them Bosch for a ford they would want to come accross that counter and kick my ass because the vehicle wouldn't run right. Point being just because a autoparts store computor says that plug will work don't always mean it will work. If I had to drive 75 miles to get the parts I would go to the local advanced or autozone but would listen to what the guys above have said worked for them.
Good luck

Hey, they threaded into the holes didn't they? :(

I agree 100%, just because the parts store guy/gal or their computer says they will work doesn't necessarily make it so.

150 mile trip to the dealer to get spark plugs? I don't know what gas costs up there, but that's going to be one expensive set of spark plugs. Why don't you just phone the dealer, give them your credit card number and have them mail the plugs?

Bosch Super Plus 7955 plugs are only $1.61 at Rockauto, plus there is a $.50 rebate per plug right now making them $1.10 per plug. A pretty good deal even if you do have to replace them more often.

Oh, damn, I thought you guys had recommended the Bosch copper. :O Oh well, I'll go OEM when they start acting up.

We are recommending the Bosche copper plugs. Some feel the OEM plugs last longer, but the Bosche works just fine.

Bosch Super Plus 7955 is the new product number for the Bosch copper. If you read the box, it does contain some iridium or uranium  or something else in it also, but it is a single prong, primarily copper plug. I'm running them in both mine and there is no problem.

Oh, okay. Mine were gapped to 0.028 already, did anybody else have this experience? I didn't physically check the gap (whoops?) but that's what it said they were gapped at and the car isn't pitching a fit.
