Headlamp wipers stuck on S80

Hi Guys, My headlamp washer/wiper on the right hand lamp is pointing skywards. Does anybody have a solution or can anybody tell me how to get the motor out to try and repair it?
its a S80 D5 2002 automatic and looks like it is surprised to see me with one eyebrow raised.

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

Does the motor work, just parking the blade in the wrong place?

Removal of the wiper motor is a long job and needs, among other things, removal of the front bumper.

I can post the instructions for you but, if the motor is working , there may be an easier fix.

The motor does not work at all I am afraid. I am sure that if I can get it off, I will be able to fix it, but it looks accessable from the inside, does the bumper really need to come off? I would be very grateful if you could give me an idiots guide.
