1986 240 gl help

i need some help w/ my 1986 240 gl . the car starts fine and drives 60 miles to work w/ no problems but, if it sits for less than 2 hours it wont start after that. it also happens after short 5 minute trips but not always. this problem occurred last summer but not all the time. it went away but has recently resurfaced. fuel filter is new ive checked everything i can think of some suggestions would be appreciated.

check your temp sending units And thermal tine switch the motor might not know it is warm and still be tring to cold start
