If you try harder & look carefully,you can see all of this yourself.

I have '97 model(the last model year for 850)and all of the engine parts are like on s,v,c70 models from '97-'99.

...And everything is more complicated than on pre '96 models.
'97 850 2.5 20v / fully equipped / Motronic 4.4 from the factory / upgraded with S,V,C,XC70 instrument cluster / polar white wagon

-you have air pump

-you have just one fuel line(there is no return line)attached at fuel rail

I have been poking through the repair db and old posts.

I'm still azazed how much people know about their Volvos.
1996 850 GLT 262k miles (gone :( )

lol keep in mind people have had 16 years since the first 850's rolled out of Sweden to learn about them.
