Thanks for the compliment. She's really starting to look nice with all the cleaning and detailing and polishing. I've never seen such nice 20 year old paint. I really appreciate how straight forward (pun intended) the car is. 1989 was a great year for the 740. You wouldn't by chance know if can stain a beige headliner black? As original as the car seems, the headliner is beige (wrong) and slightly stained. Thanks again for welcoming me so kindly. I am so pleased with the wealth of information here!. Best, Randy.

so your exhuast is shot, and you have a leak... hmmm if it drives.. its well worth the what 500$ MAYBE to fix it up. and if you know how to do it yourself, and can use google/ a auto yard. probably only cost around 300=400 to fix all that. so so far its like 401.50 usd. LOL!

Hi all. My name is Greg and I'm a newbie to posting to the forum. Already got much useful help while lurking. Here's my new Red Baron, a previously used, '96 850 GLT SW (non-turbo). Last Volvo I owned was in the 70's and it was a '67 122S. No, the prior Red baron, was not a Volvo, it was a 1961 Ford Falcon SW with fake wood sides but I loved it!
