Hello all, been lurking here for a while figured I should join and post.

We've had a 95 850 GLT for a while and love it. Just recently picked up this 85 245 for $900. It had a few issues (heater core, heater fan, and some stupid short that pops a fuse whenever I lock the doors). But other than that its pretty straight inside and out. Just got the IPD springs in this weekend (1 coil cut in the front) and started tinting the windows.

so your exhuast is shot, and you have a leak... hmmm if it drives.. its well worth the what 500$ MAYBE to fix it up. and if you know how to do it yourself, and can use google/ a auto yard. probably only cost around 300=400 to fix all that. so so far its like 401.50 usd. LOL!

Are those front lights original?

I assume they are original, but I believe the trim rings around the headlights are wrong. They have tabs on the sides that interfere with the grill and turn signal.

4th image down appears to have the same lights. Although it is a sedan. Im guessing these are all the different types of 200 series.

245L and 245DL which do you have?

Its A DL, from the few images I found on google with the same headlights, those tabs on the headlight ring seem to be correct. Just doesn't fit against the parking lights very well.

OMG LUKE! I never noticed it before. Where did you get that badge? isnt it the older 100k mile badge? I tried to get volvo to send me some but they are *collectable and I have to reach at least 400k before they will give me the older ones*

Haha, yes that is a 100k mile badge, it was on the car when I bought it. I just wish I had the 200k to go with it, since the car is at 248k miles.

I was really disappointed to get a certificate instead of a badge when my V70 recently passed 100K miles. You'd think that they would be willing to at least sell them at cost to those of us who valued getting the badges.
