My 98 s70 GLT seems to push oil out of the valve train cover and also out of the oil fill cap when driven a little hard and yes smokes from the oil dip stick. I replaced the oil fill cap and oil trap, cleaned all the ports, replaced the hoses for the oil trap and PTC is clean. I guess I am looking at blow by due to worn oil rings?? I know this will not sit well with some but since this car has bookoo mileage on it and I don't want to do a rebuild is it possible to lower crankcase pressure by tapping into the hose coming from the oil trap (close to the oil trap) with a line that I could run up to the intake manifold in order to suck the oil vapor into the manifold and re burn it. I know the "PVC" system is supposed to do this but Volvo has a vacuum line that runs from the intake mani all the way over to the PTC where it kind of joins with the turbo air intake. Thought having vac closer to the oil trap might remove more oil vapor pressure. I know this sounds hokie but I'm just not going to throw that much money at a car with a 1/4 million miles on it by having an engine rebuild. The oil being pushed out is an annoyance in that of course it drips on the exhaust manifold and gives me that Kuwaiti oil field smell. Any advice or even reprimands against trying to eliminate the oil vapor over pressure this way would be appreciated.

No, you can't do that. As soon as you hit boost, the boosted air would travel back into your engine and blow out all the seals if not blow the whole motor. If you are going to do something like that, you need to run the line and connect it up before the turbo.
