Hello! Ive recently purchased a 1996 850 GLT estate 2.5 20 valve in white with a cream leather interior(not to keen on cream but thumbs up to leather, getting used to it though!!). Got T5 alloys(all mint) even spare! only ever had pirelli p6000 on them. Also has spoiler and electric sunroof.
The car has done 120k miles FSH up to 105k and everything seems to work the engine runs like new. The cars had no crashes and is as straight as a pin, couple of little things to sort, but overall im taken a back by how much car i have for the money i paid(900GBP)
Is there a better car against value for money out there?
Looking forward to applying all help recieved in maintaning an excellent vehicle
Regards
Carlos

Welcome, Carlos.
No better value in used cars, not even close. I fully agree.

Well finnaly got around to taking some photos! It wasnt very clean.
Got a few plans for the aesthetics, want to tint the windows, and possibly get some 17/18" alloys, thats about it really. Dont want the car to look ott.
I took the badges off thinking id prefer without, now im thinking id like them back on again! Any thoughts!
Saying that the aesthetics are not top of the priority list, she needs a cam belt, ive already done a full service, the lamda light/poor running issue needs sorting(intermitent),Intermitant exaust rattle, few spots of rust aswell the front sills, and aroung some of the arches, its not too bad, but if left they will kill the car, ill post some pics to see what you guys think i can do to slow it down till i can afford to get it tended to properly.
Overall extremely happy with my purchase, its a car im happy maintaining!

Drools!!! haha that is a clean car my friend!!! I wish my 850 looked like that... although that would make it white... I like it in black! haha.
but still NICE clean car.
And good price for only 100k miles, youve got at least 100k more to go.
I wish my leather was that good looking!

Pretty car, Carlos.CarlosEstinos wrote: id rather it didnt have the t5 alloys on it seeing that it isnt one! car just came with them
You might be able to trade for non-turbo wheels and make some cash money in the process since those good condition turbo wheels would command more on the used market.

If you cant hit a buyer on here, try over at volvospeed, usually they jump on wheels.CarlosEstinos wrote:matthew1 wrote:Pretty car, Carlos.CarlosEstinos wrote: id rather it didnt have the t5 alloys on it seeing that it isnt one! car just came with them
