Yellow Sticker ETM

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Yellow Sticker ETM

Post by 537playing »

If you have a White label ETM and you already had the 'RECALL' software on your white ETM done, can you put any yellow sticker ETM on your car without going to the dealer for a software update?

Probably not. Sorry.

Check Don's ETM Room forum. Lots of good information there.

If I remember correctly, the software has to be matched to the ETM module in order for it to operate properly. (Not 100% positive about this, but pretty sure. Again, check out the ETM forum.)

Also, replacing the white label with the yellow label module doesn't really fix the root problem, which is a poorly designed feedback system in the ETM.

Have you considered the XeModex replacement? Had mine converted about a year ago (it was already a yellow label, having problems at 75k miles), never regretted it.
