Starting Problems on 2001 Volvo S60 t5
I have recently had problems starting my car. current temp outside is around -15 celcius. My car starts like nothing when it is cold, but if i drive around for a bit and shut my car off to get gas or something, it has a really hard time starting again. It will start, it just takes a while. The starter works fine and the battery is strong because the car turns over with ease. its usually will take about 3 to 5 seconds for the car to actually start when this problem is taking place. Any idea as to what may be causing this problem? I'm thinking spark plugs but then again i would think that that would affect the performance of my car. The cars engine when running is still strong though. Any ideas as to what kind of problem this may be? Thanks a lot for the help!

Your car is a prime candidate for a fuel pump issue. The number one symptom of a bad fuel pump in an 01-02 car is either a strong odor of fuel or a long start, or both. If I had to bet I would say your fuel pump has a crack in it.
