Good repair guy in Atlanta Ga for Timing Belt?

Can anyone give me a GOOD repair guy in Atlanta Ga. to replace my timing belt. I've call a few places and was told 700.00 or more. WOW. Need some help. Thanks.

give yourself a weekend and max of $300 for parts and you should be able to do it yourself with all the info thats on this site and on volvospeed.com. I was scared to death to try this on my own cause i had never changed a belt before but it was really pretty easy if you have the right tools.

but if you don't want to take any chances i would have some trained do it for a you. good luck with whatever you do!

The guy I sold my 2000 V70 to had the timing belt changed last week here in Savannah for around $400 parts included! We are only 3 1/2 hours away.

The price you've been quoted have to include a new water pump, tensioner, roller... These are pushed on you by most who do these cars often. They are a judgement call, realizing that if one fails it damages the motor. You should be able to get the belt only for @ $275. Steve's in Marietta is my suggestion. I would replace the rollers at the least if your at the 140,000 interval.

Tensioner NEEDS to be done. Many times the tensioner fails which causes the belt to fail. Also, like anmartin44 said, I think it is worth it to do this repair yourself.
