Sounds like a busted front lower control arm bushing since you said it happens when you take turns too. Otherwise, I'd suspect a warped rotor. Take it back to Sears and tell them to fix what they screwed up. I don't like taking my car to Sears. Way too many bad experiences with them.

I also have a funny vibration when I do hard braking and now I'm getting a funny noise when I turn a corner. The brakes appear ok, but I'll have the rotors checked. Please don't let it be a broken lwr frnt control bushing--that sound expensive and not for a do-it-yourselfer (my husband's realy handy).

I forgot to mention that the vibration only comes when i take right turns. That was the same side that the strut mount was bad and was replaced. Well both were replaced but that was the side that gave the trouble. I don

Front lower control arm is about $100 and can be done by a monkey with a wrench. Very easy repair.

Beware of SEARS! Lots of unethical practices and litagation spanning multiple states. I used to know a guy who worked there right out of high school, told stories about sending out cars with no brakes at all. Seems they got too stoned and forgot to put the new parts back in b4 they gave the car back to the customer.

Sears f-u ed your car, get in there face and make them fix it. Then find an IM with serious Volvo experience.
