Hi guys
Just put a new ignition switch on still same took it to volvos and they tested it and diagnostic report says the ecu is off of a automatic gearbox it seems that the main differance is the crankshaft sensor leads. if you change them round it will work but there not sure if it upsets anything else on the car, volvo's rang the ecu people witch said that there is nothing wrong with it!! I have since spoken to ecu's there name is ATP industries, I have since given them the right ECU number that volvo's have and there going to see if they can match it with one of there's,

watch this space!!

Hi, try the pnp switch located on the driver side on top of the transmission where the selector is. try to put it into normal and start it. but first of all, I would rplace all my original parts of all sensors I replaced. I remember that I replaced the MAF sensor, and the car stopped in the middle of the road without any control, so I had to turn the key off and on just to try and use the brake. Good luck
