1998 V70 Name of plastic shield under the front

Post by Oliva77 »

I drove into a 8" granite curb stone -thanks MDC- while perpendicular parking and cracked that plastic, umm, shield/cover thingy under the front. It is bolted to either side of the subframe (I think) and the plastic broke about a half-inch from the bolt on the passenger side. I removed it easily enough so I could drive home, but now that New England has plunged into snowy, salty, grimy spray and even-more-broken pavement season I want to know what it is called (or a part #) so I can go to a junkyard and get a replacement.
The plastic is sturdy enough that I can drill some holes in the broken end and wire it to the bolt, which is good enough for local, but I'm afraid it'd drop out driving at speed. Thanks, Oliva77 of Concord NH

I did the same thing, went too far up over a curb and tore it off. I fixed mine like that for a good 6 months and it was fine on the highway until I went over a speed bump too fast and tore the whole thing off.

It's called the air guide, here is the part for it:

Thanks! Do you happen to know if it's the same part for turbo and non- turbo?
