I am trying to install the p/s pump(remote reservoir) and a/c compressor on a replacement engine mounting bracket. Can not find a good layout drawing of fan belt arrangement..what drives what. I know there are 2 belt driving the alt and I think the p/s pump is driven by the a/c compressor. We are confused as to which belts contact the fan pulley and what they drive. Looking for something in my Bentley but cant locate it.

Thanks Bill..going to get a complete set of 4 belts. I think I have some of the mounting brackets mis-positioned on the p/s pump since my alignments are out slightly..should have taken a picture of the mounting before pulling it apart. Jerry in Michigan.

Bought 4 new belts..2 alt, one a/c compressor to p/s pump and one crank pulley to a/c compressor. Based on the length of the belts--the layout shown in the Haynes diagram must be "typical" but not specific to the 2.3L.
With 3 sheaves on the crank pulley..2 are used up for the alternator and the remaining one drives the a/c compressor (2 sheaves) which in turn drives the p/s pump. My dilema has been getting all the alignments and tensioners to work out with the specified belt lengths. I think I have it now but really never could find any diagrams or photos in the Bentley showing the complete set up.

From what I have read of Bentley it is not a contender against Haynes, especially for the RWD cars.
