V70 T5 2001 CD won't eject

I recently purchased a used V70 (T5) and I tried to play a CD in the in-dash player...no luck. it seems there is a CD in the drive (maybe more than 1 !!), when I hit the eject button the player goes through the eject cycle but no CD comes out. I was thinking of taking the CD player out and trying to open up the case to see if I can physically remove the stuck CD (or 2 !!) and then try to play a CD...any thoughts??

I could use help with the removal of the OEM player..I don't see the slots for a tool to 'spring' the clips that usually hold these units in. Can anybody help me with this ???
