I want to try and drain my trans fluid..
How and where do I begin..? i have a pro floor jack,stands, and tools in the garage..
What oil do I need for this rocket..?
maybe it will solve my problem..?

The drain plug is on the bottom of the transmission.
Use ONLY JWS 3309. Mobil 3309 is the most common. Toyota sells an eponymous version. If you don't care what you pay, buy it from Volvo.

Keep searching, the forums. There are detailed instructions on how to disconnect the cooler return line. It is a much more precise way to do this. Drain to a container with a measured 2 quart line on it. 2 quarts out, 2 quarts in. Don't try more than 2 quarts as you risk putting air in the system.

No filter on these. I might suggest the addition of a Magnafine filter in the return line instead.
If you do a drain and fill, figure on it taking about 16 litres by the time you are done. Drain and fill approx. 3.5 litres, drive a bit, drain and fill, drive a bit, etc. until you can get your fluid to a nice red colour after the drive. Seems the consensus is and it was in my experience that 4 sequences will get you where you want to be.
As an additionally thing, I also did another drain and fill about 20K kms later and now have them scheduled every 40K.

There are 2 theories on the drain and fill. One: drain 2 quarts and replace and drive until thoroughly mixed, and repeat until nice and red.
The other is to drain 2 and replace and immediately drain 2 again. The theory is the new fluid is pushing out the old in the torque converter and cooler.
I can't say either is right, but I've done the immediate drain replace drain cycle a few times and my tranney at 104000 shifts like new. This sequence take me less than an hour. Since this is new to you, figure 2 hours.
