CAN THE DAY RUN LIGHTS BE TURNED OFF

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

CAN THE DAY RUN LIGHTS BE TURNED OFF

Post by norok »

I generally agree with running my 2002 S80 with the headlights on during the daytime. My car has the day run headlights, so the lights are always on. There are times when I would like to have the engine running, but without the headlights being on. I have searched for a way to turn the lights off in the manual, and here on the forums. So far nothing. Has anybody found a way to turn the lights off when they are not wanted?

Yes...on most cars (and my S70) there is a tiny little screw next to the headlight switch. Get a small screwdriver and turn that to the left and they should turn off.
