2002 S80 non turbo - Reset Check Engine Light

My check engine light came on when I turned out of a parking lot hard and the car bounced up and down hard. I want to reset the light to see if I have a real issue without going to the dealer. I have read that I can reset the light by disconnecting the battery. Is there another way that doesn't involve potentially messing up the radio?

You can go to Autozone & they scan for free. They'll get the codes and look them up for you. Then ask them to erase the codes.
