V70 '02 Help Please? X shaped nut on top of strut ?

I am sorry but I need to confirm if the position of the X shaped nut on top of the front strut should be facing up or down..?

I had been searching unsuccessfully for the front strut "exploded view" to see the correct assembly sequence of parts.

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated!

The cross part is on top.
