The car now has a pink "Fail" sticker on the windshield. This car will not pass a northern Virginia emissions test as is. My take is that the car needs rings, possibly valve guides will fix it. It might be easiest to put a decent used engine in it.

I will be calling car donation places on December 30th. It's worth about $500 to me that way.

Get it out of my garage December 30th for $600. I live in McLean, VA, ZIP Code 22101. It will be sold with a bill of sale and a clear Virginia title signed over to the buyer. I can deliver it to a reasonable location in the DC area, if it is close to a metro station so I can get home.

Cash only. Car sold as is. The car runs and drives, but smokes a lot. It does not need to be towed, but you'll need a way to put your own tag or temporary tag on it in order to operate it on the roads.
