heater blows very hot or cold - nothing between

Post by donnav70xc »

The heater only blows very hot or when you turn the temp control down, even a little, then it blows cold.

I heard this is a heater control valve problem - can any one confirm this and tell me where I can find a parts manual for the V70XC 2001, please :(

Where is the heater control valve found and how hard is it to replace.

Your car does not have a heater control valve, that is only on the early cars. It could be something as easy as a software upgrade for the CCM. It also could be the temperature control damper motor or the linkage at the motor. Does your car have electronic climate control?
