Have a 60,000 mile 99 S80 (5 years old to us) that I have kept mainly due to the resources on the board. Have made most of the common repairs mentioned but finally have something that the search hasn't revealled.
The "service transmission" and "check engine" light are simultaneously on. I reset the engine service light as described and have checked the transmission fluid (full and flushed just a week ago). Any thoughts (a different mileage counter) or should I start budgeting for a transmission?
