1994 850 turbo wagon

Post by palebird »

I need to replace right hand lower ball joint on a 1994 850 turbo sportwagon and ordered one thinking I could grind off rivets and bolt new one on. But looking at lower control arm it seems to be all one piece, I don't see any rivets...am I missing something??

i think up to mid '94? , they have replaceable ball joints, held on by bolts. there was a change mid-year...
It sounds like you have the newer control arms without replaceble joints. You need the whole control arm. The good news is you get new control arm bushings at the same time :)
