Interior Panel Name

Post by biffster »

For no reason whatsoever, my S70's large interior panel located below the glove box and above the passenger's feet decided to fall down. It seems the plastic hinges that hold it in place simply got old and broke. I've duct taped it in place, but somehow the tape doesn't quite seem to fit the leather interior motif.

I'm searching for a replacement panel, but first I am looking for the name of this panel so I know what I am looking for. Any suggestions on what this panel is called and where to find panels?

Most people call it a kick panel. Volvo's official name for it is "member passenger side". I'm sure you can order it through the dealer or you may want to try giving someone like FCP Groton a call.
