Original Transmission

Post by E170_Driver »

Read that transmissions have been replaced/exchanged with folks who have bought used Volvos and had no idea that it was done. I think that I got all the maintenance records for my V70 and just wondered if there is any way to find out that one has the original transmission still installed on the vehicle?

Thanks

Hello, Start working the e-mail and phones. "The assembly line book" is the slang term I've heard for the data you seek. Who knows; maybe any parts/service guy can look up such info. Start asking Volvo employees. Suggestion: Convince them you're not unhappy right up front. Get back to us and tell us how your search went. Kira
