Radio Display Keeps Flashing

Hi
Have a V70 2002 Wagon.
Radio display keeps flashing intermittently for about 10min.
the functions properly.
I noticed recently that the volume flahes up and down too slightly when the flashing starts

any help for a fix would be great.
