Stupid question about my S60 battery

Stupid question about my S60 battery

Since the battery is in the trunk, is there somewhere under the hood to jump the car if its needed?? I cant find anything. Supposed to be really cold her in the next couple of days.

I told you it was a stupid question. :D

Not silly at all.

On my S60 ,under the hood there is a fusebox on the drivers side. It has a flip up panel marked with a "+" that allows me to jump from. The grounds appear to be on the fenders but I prefer the engine block lifting points as they are large. Page 147 of the attached pdf (your owners manual for 2001 S60) shows a nice picture. It is page 143 in the manual if you already have a copy.

That looks similar to the setup on my car. Here's a pic of the door you need to flip up to access the positive connection:
