T6 Lifters?

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

T6 Lifters?

Hello,

Could you guys and gals explain how the lifters work on the S80? I was under the understanding that they are automatically adjusted hydraulic lifters. However when I took them off they look like solid lifters.. For example if you replaced a valve or a lifter are they all the same??

From what I can see on the attached file from VADIS, they are solid and the only way to adjust them is to get tappets of varying heights to match the require clearance. Others can chime in if this is not correct...
