240 power steering fluid leak

on my 85 240 dl my power steering pump hose that goes from the resevoir to the pump has had a very slow leak where it connects to the pump and i want to find out why and how to fix it. i am completely puzzled because the hose appears to be in fine shape and is clamped on tightly.

any help would be appreciated.

You can only see the outside of the hose. The inside may be starting to deteriorate allowing the fluid, which is under pressure, to seep out.

Take the hose off at the end where it is leaking and inspect the inside.
