I don't know? Where would it be located? This is driving me crazy.
Would you have any idea what that buzzing noise is in the drivers door? Only happens when I am locking/unlocking and even opening the door.

No, the one in the picture is in the headliner by the sunroof switch.

I dropped the panel that has the lights in it. It took two 10MM bolts and it dropped out. I disconnected two wiring harnesses so that I could remove the panel further. I looked up inside that now open area but didn't see anything like that. Do I have to take more of the headliner out?

Nope, the ground connector is under one of those 10mm bolts. Maybe you don't have one on your car. Do you have the autodimming rearview mirror?

I don't have an auto dimming mirror. I did find the ground and it was tight. So, I am going to look for a hex bolt so that I might be able to manually retract it to the closed position.
Thanks so much. You have been so much help.

@jeffdowns,
That buzzing sound you hear on your drivers door when locking/unlocking/opening is a failing door actuator. My car is doing the exact same thing. My local Volvo dealer quoted me today CAD$350+tax to fix, or $172.41+tax for part only.
