I have noticed that whenever I run the heater in my car, it depletes the coolant. I have looked a few times now and noticed the reservoir almost empty. No light comes on in the car to notify my of this and the car gauge never shows it overheating. I have looked for a leak and found nothing.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? I checked the oil and it looks fine as well. So, I do not think it is leaking into the system. Frustrated!

do you have wet carpet? check your driver side/ passenger side carpet.
you might have blown the connecting hose between the in-dash heater core and the pipes (engine bay). the coolant leaked and fills your floor pan.

I had a small leak in my lower radiator hose that was dripping into the splash guard under the bumper, and the low coolant light would come on every 2 weeks or so. I couldn't figure out where it was going either - it would only leak under pressure, and then blow out as it was driving down the road, so it wouldn't drip out. I finally noticed it when I left the car idling for a few minutes while I went back inside to grab something. Something to check for at least. You can easily pressure-test the cooling system and look for leaks if you don't notice anything leaking.

If you would, fill up your coolant and go drive the car until it is warmed up. Then leave it running in your garage or driveway for a few minutes to let some ground drippage form. Without pictures the location of the drip is really the only proper way to diagnose the leak.

Most 07's are still under warranty so car should be at Volvo.
If not, drive car directly to Volvo dealer or radiator shop and have diagnosed. It is either something easy or something major.
Either way you will get it fixed. In Miami you will need all the cooling system has to offer.
Do not wait on this repair. With any leak you loose the pressure the closed system provides and in this case that means the cooling system looses over 60 degrees of temp control before boiling.
If it boils over you can damage the engine.
