Turbo boost sensor

I have a 2002 S-60 all wheel drive. The last couple weeks, I've noticed that more accelerator is required to move from a complete stop, the start is very sudden and when driving with cruise, my car seems to lope and occassionally will feel as though it is stalling. I have noticed that the tach rpm reading will actually fall to zero then back to around 2,000 and never kick off cruise. I have taken it to my local mechanic who tells me his analyzer indicates a turbo sensor fault.
Anyone have any insight to this problem or solution and where exactly is the turbo boost sensor located?

That actually sounds like a bad RPM sensor rather than a turbo control valve.

Part number is 9125462 and it is located near the inlet of the manifold on the charge pipe. Not sure if that could cause the issue you descbribe, but we sell a ton of them. It goes for $81.95 plus $5 bucks flat rate usps. It's worth a try.
