Need help with vibration
Re: Need help with vibration
No vibration when parked. Only at 3 to 7ish mph does it vibrate, and it is just that, a vibration. Stays consistent until 10ish mph, then goes away. I had someone suggest that the cv joint might be bad?
An outer cv joint is a possibility. Pretty rare though.
How's the wheel bearing any noise from that?
Brake pads hanging up due to a tight caliper?
And of course, what several others have suggested...check those tires for uneven wear.

Flush the PS system and refill with Dexron III. 11s is typically for 04+ models and they are not the same fluid. Check the rack for leaks and torn rack boots. If the rack was replaced recently have it checked out. Rebuild racks are often used and can sometimes be a little wonky.
Oh, and make sure you check your wheel torque whenever and abnormality is felt. I personally prefer at least a 95 lb wheel torque on newer volvos.
