Hello everyone,
I have got a 2000 S80 T6, it is leaking oil and will be going to the shop next week.
Besides the oil leak, when the car sits for a while and then start driving it, it makes a noise like spitting right before it switches to the second gear. It doesn't do it after you stop and drive it again without shutting the engine off. It only does it when you shut the engine off and start driving it.
Do you all have any idea what could that be?
Thanks...

Can you supply more information?
Where do you hear the noise? (engine, exhaust, suspension, etc)
Do you feel anything, like jerking, loss of speed, etc?
Do you get a check engine light? Have you checked for any codes?
Any information you can supply will help.
Also, as a suggestion, if you have any new topics, try to mention the problem in the topic header, it catches the eye better, and also helps during forum searches. Thanks.

It comes from the engine, probably somewhere around the driver side. In order to pinpoint the noise, the car should be put on lift and run it on the lift.
I thought maybe someone had a similar problem and give me an idea what it is before I take it to the shop.
It is even hard to explain it and now I am thinking about how to word it when I bring it to the mechanic. I think the best way to understand is driving it...
No check engine light on nor anything with the performance of the car..
The car runs just fine. I wonder if this has got anything to do the with the leak...
