850 T5 light cluster
Do anyone experience frequent lights burning out in their light cluster in the dashboard of their '97 850 T5? Dealers charge over $200 to change a $2 bulb. Any suggestions?

Mine haven't. One bulb that helps illuminate the trip computer is loose and requires a dashboard bump from time-to-time. I've read that turning the brightness down helps prolong bulb life.
As for changing them, I'm pretty sure there's a procedure how-to at www.volvospeed.com. I'd take the burnt ones out and go to Radio Shack for replacements.
