I can't seem to find any info on this speaker, or even how to remove it to test it.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanx.
Hi. '02 XC70 left rear passenger speaker blown.....
To gain access to the speaker the door panel will need to be removed, the speaker is more than likely riveted to the door. The rivets will need to be drilled out to remove the speaker. Use the search function on this board and type in "door panel removal". Several threads come up that will show you how to remove the door panel.

Thanks. That sounds like fun.
Any advice on where to buy a replacement besides the stealer?

I'd watch ebay and post a want to buy ad here (in the parts section). You might also try the swedespeed forum, there are usually some cars being parted out there. Local junkyards would also be worth a look. You should be able to find something for $25-$30, I think 01-03 model cars will be the same as yours but you might check different years/models for fit. Good luck
