Wrong fuel

Wife filled 2007 xc90diesel with petrol, having problems draing second tank and locating fuel filter. can anyone give some clues and best method.

All ok drained fuel via rear passenger seat access to fuel tank there is an access cover to tank got all but 1/2 litreout.
topped up with diesel and started, after a few goes all ok will top up again after running a few hundred k's but for all purposes I saved A$1,900 which was the quote to do the job on monday.
