99 VOLVO S80 T-6 STEERING SHAKING PROBLEM

My Volvo s80 starts to shake under acceleration. it doesn't shake when braking though and it doesn't pull left or right. Anyone know what the problem is I was thinking just wheel balancing because it never did it before with these same tires on.

If its only when power is applied, it might be worn CV joints....

I was thinking an alignment might be in order...after that I would start with suspension components.

I had the same problem last summer. I needed new CV joints. $600 for new axles/tierods and the problem was fixed.

yea if i give it gas a little like cruising it doesnt do it but if i apply more gas it shakes..

Yea, sounds like CV joints, most likely inner ones

Ok it was an axle it was almost comeplete broken the beaing on the inner cv was gone lol.. now fixed which ran me $220 in stalled and im good 2 go..
