Just another reminder to please use the built-in file uploader if you want to put a photo in your post. Photobucket, Imageshack and the rest can and do delete photos after a few years. When they're gone, they're gone, and we all lose out.
That's not theory, that's real. Photos posted here but stored on those services are now disappearing from posts as recently as summer, 2008.
If you upload them with the Upload attachment feature built in to this forum, they will be viewable forever (or as long as MVS exists, which will be until that giant asteroid hits Earth).
Many thanks,
Mgmt.
Reminder: use built-in file uploader for photos

So, when the world ends in 2012 then?they will be viewable forever (or as long as MVS exists, which will be until that giant asteroid hits Earth).
I need to move all mine over from Photobucket, though I've still got pictures up there from when we sold our house 4 years ago. Do you know if they just delete them if the account goes inactive?

I wish I knew the rhyme or reason for which photos they delete. I have a feeling there's a correlation between old hardware getting replaced and the images on those old machines getting deleted.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.
Also -> Amazon link. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!
