Headlight Wipers

Post by prienzo »

The other day, I realized that my right headlight wiper blade was stuck vertical. A couple of days later, it was down. I am pretty sure that it is the motor dying on me, but I really don't want to spend money replacing the motor, as I don't really care about the headlight wipers. However, I don't want the wiper blade to get stuck vertical again, so I wnat to know how to just disconnect the motor so it doesn't work at all. If anyone knows how to do this, or has any other suggestions, that would be great. Thanks.

My passenger side motor is flaking out on me, so I just disconnected the motors too. Very simple... There's a short piece of wire with 3-pin molex type of connector off each motor. Just pull them apart..

Have you tried repositioning the wiper arm and tighten the nut?
