2001 V70 front bumper removal

Post by paulm »

I need to replace a front headlight on my v70, but I dont seem to be able to get at the bolts holding the front section. Side sections are OK. Can anyone give me details of how to remove the front section?

If similar to the 850 with seperate turn signals it is unbolted from the engine compartment .

Sorry, wasnt clear in my original posting, I need to remove the bumper to get at the headlight fixings. How do I get at the bolts holding the front section of the bumper? Does the bumper skin have to be removed?

The headlight is not part of the bumper or attached to it .

The bumper needs to be removed to allow the headlight fixings to be unscrewed and to allow the headlight unit to be withdrawn.
