message on the dash

I Have a c70 2001 and on the dash where the clock is at i get a mmessage the pops up with DISC what does that mean

DISC = Disconnect. Try fiddling with the info switch that changes modes. If it flashes this on a certain mode, you'll need to order a new switch, or you could take it apart and try to clean up the contacts.

thank you for the info on that message on my display I will try and clean it and see what happens thank again
