Misc 150K + little problems are getting me down

Can anyone help with these silly cosmetic problems?

1 - both front doors no longer lock at all. Is this common? First the passenger door went so I took it apart and *thought* I was able to fix it but then in revenge against my tinkering my fix no longer held and the drivers door broke to boot.

I'm real sorry that I can't offer you any solutions, I can just share in your frustrations - I have the same gear shift light & antenna problem.

When my door lock on my rear passenger door broke, it was under warranty still so the dealer fixed it (the good-old days). The sad thing is that I see so many other 940 models driving around with their antenna half-way in as well. You're not alone...I'll also appreciate anyone that can help!

Your lock problem I am assuming that the power locks no longer work. The usual problem is the wiring that passes through the door jam, next to the hinges, often break. Every time the door is opened and closed these wires flex and bend and often break, you will have to open up the harness and splice a wire through the jam. Make sure you solder all connections.

The antenna is also a common problem, you can buy just the antenna mast and replace it, this usually fixes that problem.
