You have to fix it and do it now. Don't eat or sleep. Keep testing and repairing until you have the maximum power output. If you have to - quit your job - they will understand. Never give up modding or improving a cars performance - Never !!!

Wow - I've had a lot of coffee today !!!

Back to the original question without getting side tracked by wikiepedia any idea how I know which type of Turbo I might have or even easier where is the T/C ID plate

You're right totally invisible !!! Replaced all the vacuum hoses onto and off the Turbocharger with blue silicone took the car for a 40 mile drive, ok didnt reset the fuel trim, cars Boost gauge isn't swinging past 3/4.

30-60 needle half way
60-90 needle before 3/4 legal speed on motorways is 70 overtaking will get away with 85 ish [not recommended]
Eco mode is sluggish
Sport mode is quicker
PCV all replaced including throttle, manifold gaskets, airfilter

How do I now test the Turbocharger for correct functionwithout a vacuum gauge until I can get to the ID plate to see exactly what Turbocharger I have, it should be a TD04-15G
