Front bumper cover

This post is actually for my father...he just recently purchased 2002 XC70(silver w/ blue bumpers,etc). Gorgeous vehicle...the front bumper cover has a couple of cracks in it. He wants to know where he could purchase the bumper cover,other than the dealer? Anyone have any opinions,suggestions...greatly appreciated on my part and my fathers. Thank you

Actually the dealer may be your best bet. I didn't look up the price on the bumper for the XC70 but at Tasca Volvo and I believe Darrell Waltrip Volvo you should be able to buy a oem cover, factory painted to match your car in the $500-$550 range. Shipping generally runs $75 bucks or so. People tend to ask $250-$400 for aftermarket or used and by the time you add shipping and paint you have basically the same cost as purchasing the oem cover. Ebay, various Volvo forums and car-part.com might be worth checking as well for a used factory bumper cover. Good luck
