Buy it!
I found one last year that had been 'flash flooded' and got it cheap ;^)>
I just need to put a thousand hrs. on her. Nothin'.
Only 2000 sold USA in 95' and the only 'Volvo' badged. Well not counting the '240 Lamda' (190=yellow & 1800=black)
Ozark is good, yellow is rare, but I think it's not a very attractive color personally.
I'm coming 'Back in Black' ;^)>
Good luck and keep us posted.

Hello group-
Just a quick update: Well, we bought it! The car was about an approximate 2.5 hour drive away, and from what I found out about the car from the group and doing some research before going that day, I was sure it would be gone before we arrived. I have to agree with Andrew, the only thing we weren't sure of was that yellow color--yes, it's a yellow one! I told my husband while driving it, if I just close my eyes getting in/out, I can tell I'll be crazy over this car. The leather/suede was to die for. Driving it compared to my daughter's '93 850...well, there is no comparison. I would have to say, it's in fairly fantastic original condition. There is nothing new or modified...all original w/the exception of regular maintenance/replacement of parts needed along the way. It has 109K original miles, was owned since new by a female. It lived most of its life in Colorado--no rust--and has been in Florida since 2007. She babied the car and took it in, according to all her maintenance records, for every hiccup she heard. A huge stack of receipts and records came along withe the car. You know, we're new Volvo enthusiasts and feel almost beyond lucky for stumbling on this. We're thinking of reselling it to get a typical model as we don't know if we could do it the justice a true enthusiast could. We're going to be posting pictures later. Just wanted to send a HUGE thank you to the group for letting us know what we were dealing with last Friday. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

I would like one too but my wife refuses to drive a yellow car and for me to keep it I would need to get rid of my station wagon which I really like. I don't think there are any T5R wagons in the states, at least none that I can find.
Where in FL are you? I went to school in Daytona, wife immigrated from Canada to Cape Canaveral, brother in law lives in Melbourne and my sister in law lives in Hollywood down by Ft. Lauderdale.
FL is a good state for buying used cars and I see a lot of Volvos done there for sale. I can travel for free as I work for an airline and often look at cars on craigslist down there.

Hi Matt-
We're about 30 minutes north of Tampa. We found the car in North Ft. Myers. I do know that we really are in a good place to be getting some great cars here in Florida. Now that I found this one, I'm sort of obsessed with Craigslist. Maybe I'll find that TR-5 wagon one of these days! LoL!

My Wife with all her infinite logic said; "They used that color so people can see you better".
She's always right ;^)>
What a find!
Keep her and enjoy her.
And if I see you on the 'road', you better punch it ;>
Keep us posted.

Hello all-
I've been wanting to shoot some photos of our TR5 but haven't taken the time. Here are the photos from the Craigslist ad when we bought it. I'll try to get some closer shots soon. As far as an update: We love it! Drives wonderfully and no problems yet! Thanks to all once again for all the support!
Take care,
Jon-

Wowowowow...the sad thing is that once I graduate from school and all of that it will be so hard to find an 'R' with low miles.
I may never get to own a nice one.
