Oil Temperature high?

Post by Andie203 »

Hi, everybody. Please help 440-user. I have B18FT with intercooler, oil/water temperature exchanger, but no oil cooler-radiator installed.
When idle or riding in the city - oil temp is about 95-98 deg.C. When on highway at 120 km/h (3000 rpm, 5-th gear) it slowly goes up to 106 (or even higher - simply didn't go faster because I fear that oil figure).
Turbo boost is OK, engine - OK, water coolant temp while on highway is about 80 deg. C.
So, I wonder, is that oil temperature OK for my turbo?
Or maybe I should go at 4-5000 rpm, but at 4-th gear (oil pump would go faster) or else?
