Hi guys got another issue over the last week, when i start the car for the first time from cold.
It starts as normal, runs as normal but when i put it into drive the revs drop below 700rpm and sometimes the car actually cuts out. It is fine when i drive on, it never stalls or cuts out after the inital start up. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated guys thanks - Al p.s it has the ETM.

I've heard in other countries they register the car based on the year it was made, not the model year. So, for all intents and purposes, yours is a '99 to us, as your signature says
I would start with cleaning your mass airflow sensor. You can pick up a can of cleaner, disconnect the tube from the airbox, and just spray the inside of the sensor with it. Let it dry for an hour or two, and reconnect it and see if your problems are helped any.
