Engine will not start

2001 Volvo V70XC this is a wrecked car we changed engine in.Think the problen is in the theft system. But dont know how to reset it . I am getting fuel presure to the manifold and fire to spark plugs Can you help me :cry: :cry: [/b]

Was the engine you installed from a 2001 XC? Otherwise, the ECU may not be compatible.
'98 S70, 230k, purchased new in '98
'96 855 GLT, 163k, purchased lightly used in '99
